We’ve got MICK’S SPIRIT running today at Lingfield at 2:30 and he’s running over 5 furlongs. He ran last Saturday, run a respectable race finishing fourth. He got taken on a bit early by FAUSTUS. Unfortunately FAUSTUS is in the race again so I don’t think MICK’S SPIRIT is going to get the easy lead that he likes, and it could end up being a burn up between those two. I’m going to get Darragh to try to jump him and make the running if possible but if FAUSTUS wants to take him on, we’ll probably let him and sit second to him.

The rest of them don’t seem to like to be on the pace, but we may be setting it up for a closer. GOGO YOBARI looks the one to beat in the race carrying a penalty for winning his last 3 races. So he carries a triple penalty but the way he’s been winning, he looks capable of beating that too.

Everyone has GOGO YOBARI to beat, unfortunately there’s only 6 runners, we can’t back each way so I’m not confident we are a betting proposition but of course we are doing our best and will try to win the race for sure
