Today was a very busy day for me. First I was surprised to be taking the Qatari filly DAMSAH to the stalls, she is going home soon so had a refresher lesson with Yarmy, the stalls expert. I’ve never needed him and I don’t know why she makes such a big deal of it she had a rug and a hood and it wasn’t even cold ! I don’t know why Liz looks so nervous, we were only there to watch.

Next up was ROUGE NUAGE, he was only doing one canter so that was a breeze for me. I honestly don’t know why he gets himself so excited. He is 7 years old and I’m only 4 and I think this training is easy! If I wasn’t beside him when he goes out he would spend the whole time mucking around! He nearly gets the boss off when he plays up and that’s not an easy thing to do ! He is so stupid sometimes but he can run quite fast! Sometimes he goes faster than he is meant to judging by the colour of the boss’s face when he manages to pull him up at the end of the canter. He seems quite fit now and I think he will be off to the races again soon.

So I was put to bed for the day (or so I thought) Next thing Liz appears at lunch time with my travelling gear! Where were we off to? It turns out we were going to a place called Epsom with my other filly ZILZA, she gets very upset if I don’t go to the races with her.  I don’t mind going really, it’s nice to get out and about and the boss always takes a picnic for me, he knows how much I love my food.  I am told there’s a big race there called The Derby I was quite excited but then I was told it’s only for 3 year olds and it was a couple of months ago, I even missed Breakfast with the Stars, they must have posted my invitation to the wrong stable.  I was put in a box with another horses name on it, can’t remember his name, something to do with ships I think.  Anyway the filly I was escorting ran well and finished 5th.  I don’t think the boss was happy, he thought she should have finished closer.  We finished our day at Epsom doing selfies, it turns out that I’m quite good at it.
